If your kids are anything like mine, they have NO IDEA how to clean their room. A nice room cleaning sessions usually ends with every single things the own stacked up on their dress. If it’s out of the floor it must be clean, right?
I finally found an easy way to help my duckling keep her room clean without practically having to do it myself every time. Use this free printable to do the same for your little’s bedroom.
Let me explain. The basic box holds the tasks your child will need to accomplish daily. The details box holds the tasks your child will need to accomplish weekly. The 3 empty boxes on the side are what makes this checklist GREAT! For this to work best, you have to clean the room the perfect way first… yeah, I know, I’m telling you to clean your kids room, but stay with me here. After you clean and organize the room the way you want it, take a picture of 3 separate areas as an example for your child to reference when completing the task themselves. That way you no longer have to go in and say, the books should go here… the games should go here… etc. The pictures will provide the example!
